Terms of Service /

Web Hosting Terms

Effective date: September 24, 2026

These terms apply to ServersRus web hosting plans. They add to our general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Uptime SLA. By creating an account, deploying a site or paying for a plan, you agree to them.

1. Scope and Order of Precedence

These Web Hosting Terms ("Hosting Terms") govern the managed web hosting service provided by ServersRus Hosting (trading as ServersRus, "ServersRus", "we", "us") on serversrus.net. Where these Hosting Terms and the general Terms of Service conflict on a hosting matter, these Hosting Terms prevail. A signed Service Agreement prevails over both.

ServersRus provides hosting. Website design and development is provided separately by Telic. Website design or development work is not part of a hosting plan and is not governed by these terms.

2. Plans and Resource Limits

Each plan includes the following. The platform enforces these limits automatically.

PlanPrice / monthSitesStorageRAMMax uploadRestore pointsUptime target
FreeFree1512 MB128 MB512 MB3None
CreatorTTD $69310 GB512 MB2 GB1099.9%
StudioTTD $1351025 GB1 GB5 GB3099.9%
EnterpriseTTD $2702560 GB2 GB15 GB10099.95%

Plan features, prices and limits are those shown on our pricing page when you pay. ServersRus is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Displayed prices are the total amount payable.

3. The Free Plan

  • Free sites are put to sleep after 30 minutes without traffic and wake on the next request, with a short delay.
  • The Free plan has no uptime commitment and is excluded from the SLA.
  • One Free account per person. Accounts created to get around Free limits may be merged or closed.
  • We may change or end the Free plan with 30 days' notice. If we end it, you can still download your files before they are removed.

4. Billing, Renewal and Expiry

  • Prepaid, no auto-renewal. Paid plans are paid in advance for each billing period (monthly or annual). We do not store your card or charge you automatically. A plan renews only when you pay for the next period.
  • Payment methods: Bank transfer, Linx and credit cards — all charged in Trinidad & Tobago Dollars (TTD). Card payments are processed securely by WiPay Caribbean and activate your plan instantly. Customers outside Trinidad & Tobago can pay by credit card in USD.
  • Activation: card payments activate your plan when the payment is approved. Bank transfers activate once we have verified the transfer, normally within 1 business day of receiving your transfer confirmation and proof of payment.
  • Reminders: we email renewal reminders before your plan expires, unless you have turned billing emails off.
  • Grace period: if your plan expires without renewal, your sites keep running as normal for 7 days.
  • After the grace period your account moves to the Free plan. Your sites stay online but follow Free plan rules, including sleeping when idle. Nothing is deleted just because a plan lapsed. See Section 6 if you are over the Free limits.
  • Self-serve plans are prepaid, so a lapsed plan leaves no debt and no late fees. The late fees and interest in our general Terms apply only to balances invoiced under a Service Agreement.
  • Card payments are processed by WiPay Caribbean. ServersRus never receives or stores your full card details. Refunds of card payments are returned to the original card through the processor.

5. Refunds

  • Payments for a billing period that has started cannot be refunded. This includes cancelling or downgrading before the period ends.
  • We will refund duplicate payments and billing errors on our side in full.
  • If we end your service for reasons that are not your fault (for example, we discontinue the plan), we will refund the unused part of your prepaid period on a pro-rata basis.
  • We do not give refunds when we suspend or end your service because you broke these Hosting Terms or the general Terms of Service.
  • The service credits in the SLA are your remedy for downtime. They are not paid out as cash.
  • Nothing in this section removes rights you have under the consumer protection laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

6. Upgrades and Downgrades

An upgrade takes effect as soon as the payment for the new plan is confirmed. If you move to a smaller plan, or to Free after a lapse, and you are over the new plan's limits (sites, storage or runtimes), you must bring your usage within those limits. If you have not done so within 14 days of our notice, we may pause the projects that are over the limit. We will not delete them without further notice.

7. Fair Use of Shared Infrastructure

Hosting plans run on shared servers. Each site runs in its own container with the RAM limit of your plan. You agree not to:

  • use hosting space as general file storage, a backup target or a download mirror for files your website does not use;
  • mine cryptocurrency, or run open proxies, VPNs, Tor relays, torrent clients or other network relays;
  • send bulk or unsolicited email from a hosted application;
  • run workloads that repeatedly exhaust shared CPU, disk or network capacity and degrade other customers' sites;
  • try to access other customers' containers or data, or the platform's internal services, or probe or test our infrastructure without our written permission.

These rules add to the Acceptable Use rules in the general Terms of Service. If a site is harming the platform or other customers, we may throttle, restart or pause it. Where it is practical, we will contact you first.

8. Your Content and Responsibilities

  • You own your code and content. You give us only the permissions we need to host, serve, back up and transmit them for you.
  • You are responsible for your application: its code, its dependencies, keeping it up to date, its security, and any licences you need.
  • If your site collects personal data (for example, contact forms, accounts or orders), you are responsible for handling it lawfully, including under the Data Protection Act of Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Keep your login details, API tokens and any secrets you set in environment variables confidential. Tell us immediately if you think your account has been compromised.

9. Backups

Every plan includes on-demand backups you create from the dashboard whenever you want, with one-click restore. The number of restore points depends on your plan (see Section 2). When you reach the limit, the oldest restore point is replaced.

We do not take automated backups of your sites. A restore point exists only if you created one. Restore points are a convenience, not a guaranteed archive. You are responsible for keeping your own independent copy of your code, content and databases. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for data loss when no current restore point or copy of your own exists.

10. Domains, Subdomains and SSL

  • Sites are served on a free *.serversrus.net subdomain. The subdomain belongs to ServersRus. When your account ends, it may be released and later given to another customer.
  • If you connect your own domain, you remain its registrant. You are responsible for renewing it and managing its DNS, unless we manage it for you under a separate order.
  • We provide free SSL certificates for domains that point at our platform. If you change a domain's DNS so that it no longer points at us, its certificate may stop renewing.

11. Our Access to Your Account

We do not open your files or databases in the normal course of business. We may access them only: (a) to give you support you have asked for; (b) to investigate a security incident, an abuse report or a threat to the platform; or (c) where the law requires it. Automated systems read resource usage, logs and health checks to operate the service.

12. Suspension

We may suspend a site or an account without notice if:

  • it is compromised, for example serving malware or phishing;
  • it is being used for illegal activity;
  • it is attacking or overloading the platform;
  • a court or authority orders us to.

For other breaches, we will normally give you notice and a reasonable chance to fix the problem first. A suspended site's data is kept for the rest of the paid period and for the retention period in Section 13.

13. Cancellation and Data Deletion

  • You can delete projects or close your account at any time from your dashboard. If you stop paying, your plan simply lapses to Free (Section 4). You do not have to cancel.
  • When you delete a project, its files and restore points are removed and cannot be recovered.
  • When your account is closed or terminated, we delete its projects and data within 30 days, as set out in the general Terms of Service. Download anything you want to keep before closing your account.

14. Uptime and Liability

Uptime commitments for paid plans (99.9% on Creator and Studio, 99.95% on Enterprise), and the service credits for missing them, are set out in the Service Level Agreement. The limitation of liability, dispute resolution process and governing law are set out in the general Terms of Service and also apply to these Hosting Terms.

15. Changes to These Hosting Terms

We may update these Hosting Terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email and on this page before a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes. The price of a period you have already paid for will not change. If you do not accept a change, you can choose not to renew.
